Fundraisers
In an effort to keep our tuition prices low, we have two fundraisers each year, which are our Bowlathon and Silent Auction. Both are voluntary, and the level of involvement is up to each family. The measure of our success in our fundraisers determines how much we can do to improve the quality of our school environment. In past years we have raised money to build playgrounds and to purchase new furniture and equipment.
Silent Auction
What: Bargains to bid and buy!
Where: Light of the World Church
When: February 02-09, 2011
Why: Preschool fundraiser
Times: 8am - 4:00 each day
- Come shop at our "instant buy" table
- Get a Valentine gift for your loved one
- Bid on fine dining and entertainment gift certificates, spa packages, collectibles, children's toys and more
- Bidding ends at 12:00pm on February 09, and winners will be called immediately.
- Prize baskets can be picked up February 10-11 from 11:30am to 4:30pm
- Donations will be accepted as well
Interested in donating to the silent auction? Here's how...
Here are some suggestions:
- Gift certificates from your business
- New individual items we could use to make theme baskets such as:
- Toys
- New books
- Kitchen items
- Candles
- Beauty products
- Jellies, jams, and/or honey
- Coffee, tea

Bowlathon
What: Annual Bowlathon!
Where: Sunset Bowling Lane
When: Every November
Why: It's fun and raises money to keep costs and tuition down.
How: Parents & children get sponsors to donate per pin from family and friends.
Making a Difference
In an effort to change lives and make an impact on the world, this year the preschool will donate funds toward improving education and personal well being in Haiti.
Over 10,000 children attend the New Mission schools in Haiti.
Currently there are 25 elementary schools, as well as one high school.
Graduates from these schools are given valuable job opportunities through
the school systems. This is very beneficial to the individuals who might not
have any other job opportunities in the area, leading to a higher quality of life.
